About Me

My name is Kelly, I am the founder of These Corners of the World. I set up the site in the summer of 2017 after I made the decision to quit my job and travel the world.

I have previously worked as a reporter for a national newspaper, and as the Assistant News Editor of a regional newspaper.

Now I contribute to a number of different outlets on a freelance basis, covering topics such as news, features, and, of course, travel.
